Where is the annual meeting being held?
The 2010 SRA Annual Meeting is being held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago, Illinois.
Do I need to be a member?
You must be a full member to attend the SRA Annual Meeting. However, if you are attending one-day only, workshops, or the SRA Executive Institute membership is not required.
What are workshops?
Workshops offer more hands-on experience than sessions, which are generally instructor-led lectures. In workshops, students participate more actively, either individually or in teams, in an activity requiring the application of previously learned knowledge or skills.
Workshops are a half day or a full day held on Saturday and Sunday. Workshops require separate registration. You do not need to register for the Annual Meeting or be an SRA member to register for a workshop.
What should I wear?
Attire at the SRA Annual Meeting is business casual. Feel free to wear comfortable slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses and most important, comfortable shoes. Please remember to bring a jacket or a light sweater to the meeting rooms as they may be cool. Suits, ties, nine-to-five dresses and high heels are not required.
