Call for Proposals
The Ohio Chapter of the Society of Research Administrators International is currently looking for informed subject matter experts to speak at the 2020 Ohio Chapter Meeting on June 8, 2020 in the Cincinnati, Ohio area (location details in progress).
We are seeking speakers who can contribute new insights, discussions, and/or practices on research administration. Presenting a session at an SRAI Chapter Meeting provides you with an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge and learning experiences, increase your exposure, and network with other Research Administrators and Research Managers! New and previous speakers are welcomed!
If you are interested in presenting a session at the meeting, please complete the "Proposed Session Description" form and submit it by December 13, 2019. The proposals are going to be reviewed in January 2020 and notifications will be sent in February 2020.
Should you be chosen to present, you will be required to submit a signed "Speaker Agreement Form." This form will be separately emailed to you for completion. Please be aware that SRAI is a volunteer organization and there is no reimbursement or stipends being offered at this time for presenters. Also, please register for the conference if you would like to attend other sessions.
We like to post PowerPoint or other presentation materials on our website before the conference, in order to allow members access to this information. This is a members-only log-in site that is accessible only to the membership of SRAI. If you agree to have your presentation materials posted on the SRAI website, a signed ‘Presentation Release Form’ giving permission will be required; this will be separately emailed for completion. Please be prepared to submit a copy of your presentation before May 1, 2020.
