Exciting Podcast Announcement and Member Competition – Deadline Extended

An exciting new initiative will be launched in early 2021 when SRAI unveils its podcast series. The podcasts will be a new addition to our ever-expanding list of membership benefits and will provide thought-provoking and timely content about research administration and management as well as hot topics and current events in the field.

The Podcast group, led by Carla Demarco, Research Communications and Grant Manager at the University of Toronto Mississauga, is one of four committees under the auspices of the SRAI Communications Committee.  The other three committees and their chairs are: The Journal of Research Administration, chaired by Nathan Vanderford; the Catalyst, co-chaired by Karen Bone and Terry Campbell; and the Social Media Committee, chaired by Tonya Edvalson.  Look for lots of collaboration and crossover between these committees in the coming months.

Because we are designing this program with you in mind, we thought it would be a great idea to drum up excitement and enthusiasm through a naming competition for this new initiative. We are certain that you, our creative and insightful members, are the best people to come up with a clever, fun name for our currently nameless podcast series. We have extended the submission deadline to January 31. The prize for the winning entry will be one LevelUP Micro-credentialing course of the winner’s choosing, which will be accessible for a one-year period. For the creative leaders out there, yes, this prize is transferable to a member of your team.

Submit your idea for the podcast name by January 31! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/39XTSFH
