Maximize Your SRAI Experience | Logging In and Setting Up Your Account
Welcome to the SRAI website, where you will find everything you need to Maximize Your SRAI Experience. Over the next few months, we will share some tips about how to get the most out of this tool. First up: Logging in and getting set up.
To access the login window, click the blue Sign In button in the upper right of the main SRAI page. Here you will also be able to create an account if you are a first timer or reset your password if you are like me and often lose track of which password goes where.
If you do forget your password, you will need to have the email address under which you registered and have access to that account. After you request the reset, you will receive a message that contains a link to reset. You only have one hour to use that link, so if you get distracted by a PI with a last-minute proposal submission and run out of time, you have to request another reset.
Once logged in, it is time to set up your account. In the upper right of the page next to the Search bar there is a circle that either has a picture of you in it or a silhouette and the words Upload a Photo.
Click that circle to go to your Member Directory Profile. From this page, you can personalize your SRAI experience as well as view your SRAI purchases and get a list of education credits you have earned with SRAI.
Take note that when you access your Contact Details, Purchases, Education Credits, or Committees, you will go to a new tab in the browser. To return to your Member Directory Profile, select the appropriate browser tab.
Before you begin to explore the entire website, I recommend clicking the pencil icon next to the Contact Details header to update your personal and contact information. From this page, you can also use the privacy options to decide how much of this information to share with your colleagues and access the window to change your password.
Back on the Member Directory Profile browser tab, be sure to update and explore all the options available. For example, under the My Account tab, you have access to additional privacy options, you can set up how you want to receive email from SRAI, and you can also create a signature to use when you participate in discussion groups.
