Letter from the President |

In her final Letter from the President, Dara C. Little reflects on the profession that turns ideas into impact and on the gratitude she carries as her SRAI term comes to a close.

As research administrators, we play a vital role in advancing research and innovation. Through our expertise and support, we help transform ideas into impact by enabling researchers to focus on their important work. SRAI's motto, "Driving Research Together," is a powerful reflection of the difference our profession makes every day.

As my term as SRAI President draws to a close, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve this remarkable community. One of SRAI's greatest strengths is the network we create together. Through collaboration, mentorship, and professional development, our members continually support one another and strengthen our profession.

While our field continues to navigate change and new challenges, research administrators have always demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and leadership. I am confident that under the leadership of President Marcos Garza, SRAI will continue to help members thrive in an evolving research environment.

I am deeply grateful to Gloria Greene, the presidents who came before me, our committee chairs, and all who contribute their time and talents to SRAI. Your dedication is truly what makes SRAI the premier association for research management professionals.

On September 25, I encourage you to take a moment to celebrate the incredible contributions of research administrators everywhere. You turn possibility into reality, and your work deserves recognition.

Thank you for the privilege of serving as your President. I look forward to celebrating Research Administrators Day with my colleagues at Northern Illinois University and research administrators across the globe. Together, we have a bright future.

Happy Research Administrators Day!
