Directions

Located at the intersection between the Upper and Lower peninsulas, Mackinac Island is readily accessible from both sides of the Mackinac Bridge. It is about a four-hour drive from nearly anywhere in Michigan, so we hope you'll take the trip to this incredible location!

Ferry Access

Note that motorized vehicles are not permitted on Mackinac Island. The only access route is via ferry.

If you have booked a room at the Grand Hotel, included with your reservation is one (1) complimentary ticket on Shelper's Ferry to the island. If you are staying at a different hotel, or have additional guests with you, you will be able to purchase additional ferry tickets when you arrive.

As a participant of the SRAI Michigan Chapter Meeting, we have a block of rooms reserved at the following rate:

$299/night + tax & fees - CATEGORY I: Smaller, interior-view rooms
$409/night + tax & fees - CATEGORY II: Larger, interior-view and smaller, lake-view rooms
$529/night + tax & fees - CATEGORY III: Special, deluxe lake-view guest rooms, some with balcony
Please note the last night to make sleeping room reservations is Friday, May 10.

Meals, a Grounds Entry Fee and one (1) Complimentary ticket on Shelper's Ferry to the island are included with your hotel reservation.

Reservations by Phone

To reserve your room, submit the completed hotel reservation form with the required deposit via email or fax. You must be registered for the conference to qualify for the reduced-rate hotel block.

Check-In/Check-Out

The hotel check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

Hotel Cancellation


If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your hotel reservations. Cancellations are subject to a 10-day cancellation policy. Cancelling your sleeping room DOES NOT cancel your conference registration.
