The Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) is an independent nonprofit organization that develops and administers a voluntary program for the certification of individuals who meet the eligibility requirements established by the Council and pass a written examination. The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) was established as a private, not-for-profit educational corporation chartered by the State of New York on January 24, 1963.
