Rebecca Claycamp, MS, CRA, retired in 2020 as the Chief Grants Management Officer of the National Institute of Mental Health where she was responsible for the oversight of all fiscal and administrative activities for the Institute's $1.6 billion portfolio of grants and cooperative agreements. Prior to coming to the National Institutes of Health in 2001, she spent 19 years as a research administrator at the University of Kansas, the University of Iowa and the University of Pittsburgh. She has received numerous awards and is recognized as an accomplished educator on topics across the research administration spectrum from both the sponsor and recipient perspectives.  She is currently consulting and teaching in research administration.
