Dr. Ingrid Y. Padilla is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Surveying at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez (UPRM). She has extensive experience in environmental and water resources engineering, leading multidisciplinary research programs that address groundwater contamination and water sustainability. In addition, Dr. Padilla has held key leadership roles in research administration and capacity building at UPRM, making her a champion for advancing collaborative research and forging strategic partnerships in Emerging Research Institutions.
