Check-In/Check-Out

The hotel check-in time at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar and the El Conquistador Resort is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. The hotel bellman can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on the departure day.

Parking

Daily self-parking fee of $15.00 plus tax. Daily valet parking fee of $20.00 per car plus tax.

Getting to El Conquistador

  • Travel Route: Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) to El Conquistador

  • Travel Time: Approximately 45-50 minutes.

  • Taxi/Uber Rates: Rates can vary between $70–$95 one way.

  • Travel Time: Approximately 35–45 minutes.

Hotel Cancellation

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar or the El Conquistador Resort directly to cancel your hotel reservations. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a one night's room and general excise tax charge. Cancelling your sleeping room DOES NOT cancel your conference registration.

International Attendees

SRAI welcomes all international attendees and hopes to make your experience in Puerto Rico as easy as possible. Whether this is your first time coming to the United States or you are a seasoned traveler, some things you should note from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) are included here.

  • Visit the US Department of State Website for information or changes to the visa process.
  • Register online for the 2025 SRAI Southern/Northeast Section Meeting and then request your Letter of Invitation from SRAI. 
    • Complete one request for each person requiring a Letter of Invitation through SRAI.
    • Obtaining a Letter of Invitation will NOT guarantee that you will be approved for a visa. The letter is merely supplementary information that explains a visa applicant's intended purpose to travel.
  • Apply for your visa as early as possible and at least 90 days prior to your departure date.
  • Check your passport expiration date to make sure it will be valid for at least six more months.
  • If you already have a visa, check the expiration date to make sure it will not expire before your trip is completed.
