Monthly Poll
Last month we asked you to share your New Year’s resolutions and tell us if you were planning on setting goals for 2021. Sixty percent of respondents shared that they were not setting goals for 2021 because they routinely did not set resolutions. Of the 40% who were setting resolutions, here are a few that were shared with us:
- Reconnect with LinkedIn network
- Write more
- Refocus on exercise and healthy eating
- Create more
So many of your resolutions are the types of activities that we discussed as self-care in previous articles. 2020 and its many challenges have tested our resilience and pushed us to think about so many things differently. SRAI hosted a webinar last month led by Stan Sack, Ph.D., Kortnay Woods, Ph.D., and Gloria Greene, MA, CRA entitled Mental Toughness in Tough Uncertain Times. We would like your responses to the following questions for this month’s poll; the results will help the presenters direct their follow-up content on this topic:
On a scale from 1 to 5 where 1 is No Control and 5 is Complete Control
- Your co-workers are not receptive to your idea
- The project you are in charge of fails
- Your employer offers you a 30% pay cut to keep your job
- You receive an unfavorable performance appraisal
- You do not receive a much anticipated promotion
Tell us on the survey!
