Saiqa Anne Qureshi, PhD MBA
Saiqa Anne Qureshi began her career in the United Kingdom, before returning to the United States, and has held several senior leadership positions in higher education for the California State and University of California systems, as well as Stanford University.
She attended University California, San Diego, as an undergraduate, and completed a Master’s Degree at Oxford, before completing her PhD, as well as an MBA from Imperial College London. She is extensively published in both academic and industry publications, speaks internationally about research management, communication, recruitment and retention, and the impact of diversity on research and higher education administration. She holds several adjunct faculty positions in Business Schools and in Research Administration at Johns Hopkins University.
Olumide Odeyemi
Olumide Odeyemi is a passionate research administrator from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He is a recipient of the Society of Research Administration International (SRAI) Future of the Field Award (2023) and SRAI Excellence Award (2024) with extensive experience in the research ecosystem, and working knowledge of national and international funding, legislation, and regulations governing the conduct of research.
As a research administrator, he has provided research support services towards over 300 grant applications budgeted at more than $300 million in research funding grants submitted to over 150 funding bodies. He has trained more than 2,000 students and academics on the responsible conduct of research, academic and research skills, researcher development, and how to secure scholarships and grants.
