The content is designed to provide a strong foundation necessary to manage the complexities and nuances of departmental research administration. Participants will self-train at their own pace with micro-credentialing modules.

December 8-17, 2021

This intensive program is intended for those just stepping into a pre-award position whether as a newcomer to the field of research administration or those changing focus within research administration. As Pre-Award is the foundation for the grant lifecycle, pre-award research administrators play a critical role in setting a grant off to a good start.


Art of Negotiation Intensive
January 11 - 20, 2022

This intensive program was developed for mid-level research administrators. Participants will learn valuable tips, techniques and strategies aimed at improving the outcomes of research contract negotiation between institutions and their industry sponsors.


 Research Development, Planning and Practice: Enhancing Institutional and Individual Research Capacity Intensive
February 10 - March 17, 2022

: This program is targeted at mid to senior level research administrators who are committed to enhancing and promoting research development strategies and services. Whether in a department, college, or central administration, participants will receive detailed and practical information, strategies, and examples to illustrate the benefits of research development for individual researchers and institutional research activity and outcomes.
