The Executive Director furthers the strategic initiatives of the Society through support and engagement of its divisions, sections and committees, and provides outreach and collaboration with international and US based organizations to leverage and expand the mission and vision of the Society. This position manages the various functions of the organization, including supervision of staff at headquarters, communication among the Society’s various constituencies, outreach to external partners and groups, member services, marketing and communications, metrics and impacts, programming, implementation of the strategic plan, and oversight of the Society’s finances.
The Executive Director should hold a Master’s degree (required) or a higher degree i.e. PhD, JD, etc. (preferred) with at least ten (10) years experience in research administration or a field that logically interfaces with the profession of research administration. A comprehensive understanding of the field of research administration is required.
This position is a full-time position at SRA International headquarters office in Arlington, VA, USA.
