SRA International members rock! As research management and administration professionals, they never stop improving, learning, achieving, or earning new heights of success. We love sharing good news and offering a well-deserved slap on the back for recent personal and/or professional achievement. In keeping with that sentiment, please join with us as we congratulate Fran Stephens on her recent promotion and Elenora Levin on earning her advanced degree.
SRA International is a professional networking community of learners. One way to gain knowledge and expertise is to share our stories of successful achievements with our peers and colleagues. Often research managers/administrators are cast in the role of promoting, supporting and applauding others. While this may be gratifying in many respects, it is also healthy to have pride in one’s own accomplishments. Kudos Korner offers SRA International members a wonderful and respectful venue for sharing and “bragging.”

Director, Pre-Award Services

In her new role as Director, Pre-Award Services, Fran assists the Executive Director, Office of Research Services in implementing strategies to support sponsored programs research within the University community while maintaining a customer service orientation. She is responsible for the review, processing, and submission of proposals to external sponsors; negotiations, formal acceptance and execution of awards, and project account set-up through management of the Pre-Award Staff.
Fran is a frequent SRAI facilitator at annual and section meetings, as well as at specialized training programs. Click here to read more about Fran’s role and background.
Advanced Degree
Elenora Levin, MBA
Grant Specialist
St. John’s University
SRAI member since 2016
Elenora Levin recently earned her MBA and an Advanced Certification in Global Brand Marketing, from SUNY Empire. While working toward her degree, Elenora was elected as part of the Executive Board for the GSC - Graduate Student Collaborative Club (Treasurer - 2016-2018). During this time, she represented the GSC at college mixers, participated in many college events, networked, created opportunities for other graduate students and engaged in the SUNY community. Together with the GSC Elenora participated in hosting the 2018 and 2017 College Wide Diversity Forums.
Elenora’s poster was accepted and she will be presenting during the poster session on Sunday at the SRAI Annual Meeting in Orlando this October. She will also be volunteering at the registration desk – so stop by and say hello!
