It’s not too early to start making your plans to join us for Research Management Architecture and All That Jazz at the Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile in beautiful downtown Chicago, April 28-May 1, 2019.
ATTENTION ALL SPEAKERS. Whether you have presented once or hundreds of times, we encourage you to submit your ideas for the annual Section Meeting. Additional information can be found on our meeting webpage under "Call for Proposals." Deadline for submitting a proposal is Wednesday, November 7th at midnight.
LEARN. This meeting will offer three complete certificate programs – Research Development, Leadership and Clinical Trials 101 (CTR101) – as well as workshops, learning cafés, roundtables and six educational tracks to round out the program, including:
- Professional Development (PD)
- Clinical Research (CR)
- Management & Operations (MO)
- Financial & Post-Award Management (FM)
- Research Ethics & Compliance (RE)
- Sponsored Programs Planning, Development and Deliveries

NETWORK. This meeting is the perfect opportunity to network with your fellow Research Administrators. Join us on Monday, April 28 at the Chicago Sports Museum (link is external) for our Opening Reception. Network with you SRAI colleagues and enjoy high-tech interactive experiences—including skill challenges and simulated experiences—with unique sports memorabilia and an impressive collection of game-used treasures and other artifacts.
HOTEL. Our meeting will take place at the Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile . Located just off Michigan Avenue and centrally located in the heart of downtown Chicago. Join us at this beautiful and luxurious hotel and explore all the city has to offer- from noted attractions like Navy Pier to high-end shopping along Magnificent Mile. ANNUAL MEETING. We hope to see everyone in Orlando for the 2018 SRAI Annual Meeting. Be sure to stop by the Midwest/Northeast Section booth #503 to get additional information on the 2019 Section Meeting and say hello to your colleagues. Don’t forget to drop off your business card for a chance to win a gift basket!
CHICAGO FUN FACTS. This popular destination gets about one million visitors each year. Along with being a building to marvel at, Sears Tower is one of Chicago’s most popular attractions. It is the eighth-tallest building in the world and the second tallest building in North America / Western Hemisphere. Not only this, but on a clear day visitors can see four states from the Skydeck: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan.
