Dear Catalyst Readers,
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the 2018 Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL, October 27-31, 2018, which is just a few days away! This year marks the 51st anniversary of this meeting and we have a diverse and knowledgeable group of speakers and presenters who will be attending. With the goal of improving research administration around the world, we look forward to meeting colleagues, friends and networking to broaden our reach and make new connections. If you missed your chance to attend this year, no worries- we hope to see you next year in San Francisco.
The wide national and international reach that we have is due in large part to the presence of then internet! In this issue, we discuss cybersecurity and provide tips on how you can keep yourself and your organizations safe from hackers and attackers. We also wish Gayle Walters well as she ends her three year term on the SRAI Board of Directors. In addition to our regular sections, we have an exciting literature review and an opinion piece by Jason Claes.
If you are interested in submitting an article for the next Catalyst, we welcome your participation.
Happy Reading until next time,
Katie Watkins & Seema Dhindaw
