Alexandria Biberstein is a Research Registered Nurse at Baylor Scott & White Research Institute in Dallas, Texas. Alexandria’s career in research administration began about four years ago. Prior to that she was a critical care nurse for nine years. Alexandria was recruited into research by a colleague and she “has never looked back.” She was so intrigued with the field of research administration and management that she enrolled in the Master of Research Administration degree program at Johns Hopkins University from which she graduated in May 2018. Alexandria looks forward to utilizing what she has learned to further her career as well as to help expand the research enterprise.

Paul Brouillette is a Grant Administrator at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts, and is responsible for pre and post award management for several departments. McLean Hospital is part of the Partners Healthcare organization and is affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining McLean Hospital, Paul worked for many years overseeing grants administration in the non-profit workforce development sector, following a long career as a training and development professional in the corporate sector. Paul lives in Arlington, Massachusetts with his 17-year-old son Joel and their cat Barnaby. When not at McLean, Paul enjoys singing with the Arlington-Belmont Chorale and hosting multi-course dinner parties for friends and family.

Viviana Unda is an educational manager and teacher. She’s currently the Executive Director, Academic Quality and Continuous Improvement at Laureate Education in Redondo Beach, California. Viviana’s work has focused on serving higher education students by delivering learning and teaching practices that make them thrive. As a research administrator, her goal has been to support institutional academic research agendas and assist scholars in building their research capacity and fully capitalize on their accomplishments. Viviana is passionate about designing student-centered curricula, strategizing around how to increase research funding and visibility, and implementing continuous-improvement projects to help tertiary education institutions achieve the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
