Southern Section Welcomes Ana Feliciano to Treasurer Position
In September, the Southern Section held a special election for the Treasurer position, as former Treasurer, Amy Roberts, was recently presented with a great opportunity at her university too good to pass up. We are pleased to share that Ana Feliciano has been elected as the incoming Treasurer, and her term began October 1. Ana is the Post Award Coordinator for the Deanship of External Funds at the University of Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras, and has been in the field of research administration for 26 years. Welcome, Ana, and we are excited to have you in this role! We will miss you, Amy, and wish you the very best as you embark on this new adventure! Thank you both for your service to SRA International and to the Southern Section!
On a related note, we are nearing that time of year for Section and Chapter officer elections. I hope you will consider running for one of these offices or nominating a colleague who you think would do an excellent job in one of these roles. We need volunteers just like YOU to continue to build on the wonderful organization that is SRA International!
