Call for Volunteers Open for the 2021 Annual Meeting
The SRAI 2021 Annual Meeting is underway in preparing a fabulous in-person meeting and experience in New Orleans! Sign-Up today to volunteer in being a part of this exciting planning process. Volunteering is a great way to expand your network, get to know long-term volunteers, and see if you want to get more involved with the Society in a leadership position.
Volunteer opportunities exist within many different areas of interest and on varying levels of commitment, and include the following:
- Peer Reviewers
- Responsible for reviewing proposals/abstracts, scoring the proposals/abstracts, and confirming that the sessions and workshops best suit their identified track.
- Track Leaders
- Responsible for reviewing all their tracks proposals/abstracts and identifying the sessions and workshops for their track. In some cases they will need to create and identify speakers for a session or workshop.
- Thread Leaders
- Responsible in ensuring that the program educational content will be sufficient to meet the needs of meeting and members from the various fields and components in research administration.
- First Time Attendee Committee
- Responsible in organizing events and receptions for first time SRAI meeting attendees and new members.
- On-Site Volunteers
- A great way to network while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the conference – these volunteers are responsible for monitoring sessions and assisting at registration desk.
