Call for Volunteers Open for the 2021 Annual Meeting

The SRAI 2021 Annual Meeting is underway in preparing a fabulous in-person meeting and experience in New Orleans! Sign-Up today to volunteer in being a part of this exciting planning process. Volunteering is a great way to expand your network, get to know long-term volunteers, and see if you want to get more involved with the Society in a leadership position.

Volunteer opportunities exist within many different areas of interest and on varying levels of commitment, and include the following:

  • Peer Reviewers
    • Responsible for reviewing proposals/abstracts, scoring the proposals/abstracts, and confirming that the sessions and workshops best suit their identified track.
  • Track Leaders
    • Responsible for reviewing all their tracks proposals/abstracts and identifying the sessions and workshops for their track. In some cases they will need to create and identify speakers for a session or workshop.
  • Thread Leaders
    • Responsible in ensuring that the program educational content will be sufficient to meet the needs of meeting and members from the various fields and components in research administration.
  • First Time Attendee Committee
    • Responsible in organizing events and receptions for first time SRAI meeting attendees and new members.
  • On-Site Volunteers
    • A great way to network while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the conference – these volunteers are responsible for monitoring sessions and assisting at registration desk.

Limited spots are available so please be sure to sign-up as soon as possible! If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the Sign-Up form on the SRAI website.

We look forward to working with you!
