Research Contract Review and Negotiation Intensive

Kristy Baker has over 25 years of university research administration experience. She is currently Director of the Office for Business & Industry Contracts within the Office of Sponsored Programs at The Ohio State University, leading a team of fifteen responsible for the management of industry funded basic, applied and clinical research. Kristy and her team handle pre- and post-award aspects from proposal submission, contract development and negotiation, and research risk assessment to monitoring fiscal and compliance performance.

David has been in working research administration for the past 30+ years.  Over that period, he has held contracting and leadership roles at four different R1 institutions: Ohio State University, Colorado State University, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and currently performing as the Director of Sponsored Programs Administration at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.   In his current role he provides pre-award oversight of all extramurally funded research related grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts, including investigator initiated clinical trials.

David Fullmer is a Director within sponsored programs at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.  Primary oversight of all research related contracts and the clinical trial’s team.  Has been involved in research administration for over 10 years.  BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
