Be the Voice of SRAI on Your Campus

Share your enthusiasm for SRAI and help your colleagues discover the benefits of membership, resources, and community. As an Ambassador, you’ll serve as a local champion, answering questions and fostering engagement on your campus. You’ll also join a national network of fellow Ambassadors—peers in similar roles who are building connections and advancing the profession together.

Ideal candidates typically meet the following criteria:

  • Active SRAI member for at least five years
  • Attended an in-person or virtual SRAI event within the past year
  • Served as a volunteer (e.g., presenter, committee member, or officer)
  • Comfortable sharing SRAI resources and championing the Society on campus

Inside the Ambassador Experience

SRAI Ambassadors play a vital role in expanding the Society’s reach by serving as informed, accessible points of connection within their institutions. Through peer-to-peer outreach, Ambassadors help others discover the value of SRAI membership and resources—while gaining their own leadership and networking opportunities in return.

As an Ambassador, you'll have access to:

  • Ambassador Connect Community – A dedicated space to exchange ideas, resources, and inspiration with fellow Ambassadors.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Appointments are for one year and begin October 1 and end September 30.

The appointment term is for one year.

Yes, the term can be renewed for up to three consecutive terms by mutual agreement, after which re-application is required.
