As an SRAI member, we are fortunate to have a lot of information at our finger-tips. Do you know what those are? Well, it’s your lucky day! It’s time to let you know what they are and where to find them.

There are two formal e-publications available to SRAI members: Catalyst and the Journal of Research Administration. Additionally, at each International Meeting, we are treated to hearing from experts in the field who submit papers and/or posters with important topics and information. The Best Poster and Best Paper of the Year are honored at each meeting and posted in the Publications Symposium section of the website.

The Catalyst is the monthly electronic newsletter that comes to you via email, but is also available on the SRAI website. You can access it anytime of the month, day or night at here.

The Catalyst offers insight from experts in our profession on the latest hot topics in the field. The articles are written from members who are working like all of us and want to share their expertise and commonly how they are solving similar problems that we all face.

In addition, you will find upcoming conference information and other learning opportunities, such as webinars, traveling workshops, and chapter meetings. Officers and leaders from your sections and chapters, the various committees, and our Board of Directors will reach out to let you know what is happening in the organization. The Catalyst is always looking for authors to contribute an article. If you have something you want to share, feel free to submit your ideas, your article, etc. at SRAI Catalyst Submissions.

The Journal of Research Administration (The Journal) is full of scholarly resource for research administration and management. Submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process through the editorial board. These submissions are carefully reviewed for content, style, and relevance in the field.

Once accepted, the editorial board will work with authors on any revisions prior to publication. The publications are available online and to be sure you are notified when they are available, you can subscribe by entering your email address from the website. The Journal is available in many formats. You can access the latest and earlier editions on Kindle, Nook, and Apple or Android devices. Hard copy format editions are mailed to SRAI members. All information on becoming an author and the available fellowship program are also found on The Journal’s website here.

A free webinar will be offered on March 7, 2018 at 2:00-3:00 pm (Eastern) to learn more about The Journal and how to be an author. You are invited to register for this opportunity at the online education page.

Symposium award winners are found here. Not only can you see the most recent award winners from our last International meeting, you can see award winners through 2009 – 2016. These posters and papers represent important topics in research administration, ranging from research projects conducted within our profession to programs put into place that have made significant impacts for institutions and are being shared with others.

You are invited to take every advantage that these publications have to offer and share them with your colleagues. They are efforts that SRAI is very proud of as an organization. If you have any ideas regarding how they can be improved or if you ever want to be a contributor, that is very much welcomed. You can find out how to participate by going to the sites referenced above for more information.
