Note from the Editor | Summer Heat and a Good Book
As a native Texan and Florida transplant, I associate June with kicking off the heat and humidity, embracing the air conditioning, and relaxing with a good book. If you enjoy a good summer read as well, I recommend checking out the books on our 2021 SRAI Summer Reading List provided by our leadership as a nice summer treat. You can always add your own recommendations in the comments.
If you’re more in the mood for reading about NIH or how best to get the most out of the SRAI member directory, we’ve got you covered there, too. Additionally, since work from home or the transition back to the office continues to be a reality for so many of us, we continue to touch on this topic in some of our featured articles as well as our monthly poll.
Furthermore, I wanted to mention that the SRAI Journal of Research Administration is inviting manuscript submissions for a special issue on inclusion and diversity.
Finally, I wish you all a great start to your summer and thanks for reading along with us.
