To accommodate the wide variety of members we serve, SRAI offers four types of membership.

Choose the membership that works the best for you and then join online or download the application.

Full membership includes all the benefits SRAI has to offer and discounts on several of the most popular offerings including webinars, LevelUP micro-credentialing, and our popular annual conference.

Full Membership is $205/Year*

*New members pay a one-time $30 processing fee to initiate membership. That fee is waived for all renewals as long as membership is renewed on a yearly basis from the day in which the membership began.

Predominantly Undergraduate Institutions (PUI) Membership applies to institutions defined as a PUI by the National Science Foundation, accredited colleges and universities (including two-year community colleges) that award Associate's degrees, Bachelor's degrees, and/or Master's degrees, but have awarded 20 or fewer Ph.D./D.Sci. degrees during the combined previous two academic years.

PUI membership offers the benefits of Full membership to everyone in your institution for one flat annual rate of $385/Year*.

*SRAI membership are on an anniversary cycle. Current members moving under a PUI Membership will renew on the Institutions anniversary cycle.

Once payment is processed, you will receive a welcome email from SRAI’s registrar containing details and instructions about your new PUI membership. Please allow 24 business hours to receive your welcome email.

Retired membership is available to those who have been full SRAI members and have since retired but want to maintain their place in this special community. Individuals must have been an SRAI member for at least one year. Retired members retain the full membership benefits at a reduced rate.

Research Administration and Management is a fascinating profession that spans the globe with ever increasing layers of complexity. Leaders from around the world recognize the importance of maintaining good communication, excellent training, and strong global partnerships. This new initiative provides opportunities for research managers to expand their network and training.

Sister Society membership presents the opportunity for current members of these organizations to become full SRAI members at no additional cost. Current members need to register online using the code provided by their organization at payment checkout. Click here to join online.

SRAI membership is on an anniversary cycle. Members need to renew their SRAI membership annually.


INORMS Sister Association Program (ISARBS)

ISARBS allows participating members of the INORMS community of research management associations to receive SRAI member rates on events and online programs, access to the SRAI online Community on Connect, and publications. Members of these organizations need to create an SRAI member account online using the code: ISARBS-SRAI at checkout. Membership and geographic location* will be confirmed. Current participating organizations eligible for the SRAI ISARBS exchange are the Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ARMA), Australian Research Management Society (ARMS), and European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA).

ISARBS benefits are on an anniversary cycle. Members need to renew their profile annually with SRAI and confirm they are a current financial member of their countries home organization. *To avoid unintended competition between INORMS member associations, agreed geographical restrictions have been put in place. Student membership is available for those enrolled in full-time degree programs at accredited universities as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student. Student membership offers all the benefits of Full membership at a reduced rate. Persons pursuing their PhD/Doctorial studies do not qualify for student membership. Proof of full-time student status is required. After four years or upon graduation, membership will renew at the Full membership rate.

Policies

Membership belongs to the member and is not transferable. Membership fees are non-refundable.
