Many thanks to Cindy Kiel, President of SRA International and Executive Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Administration at the University of California, Davis, for presenting an inspiring and motivational keynote on the meeting’s theme: “Past, Present and Future: Preparing the Next Generation.” [Both the chapter logo and the meeting logo were used to brand the program.]

Twelve concurrent sessions addressed topics related to such areas as pre-award, post-award, project management, sub-recipient monitoring, research compliance, soft skills, and the funding landscape. On Thursday, February 8, three pre-conference workshops on Financial Administration, Proposal Development, and Proposal Budget Development, each designed to help fulfill an SRAI Certificate, were also offered, and the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) provided a CRA review session. All were well received by attendees.
