Southern/Western Section Meeting in Savannah!

Have you booked your trip to the 2020 Southern/Western Section Meeting yet? If not, what are you waiting for? Come on down to Savannah! The Southern/Western Section Planning committee has been busy planning an amazing conference for us, and the best part? You’re invited! Join us in the great city of Savannah, Georgia on March 22-25 for the 2020 Southern/Western Section Meeting. The City of Savannah offers a great location for us to come together to conduct SRAI business, network, and learn from the best and brightest minds in SRAI.

Let the city of Savanah speak to you through a tour of the birth home of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts. Feel the eager enthusiasm of her story inspire you in the spirit of Servant Leadership in your journey as an administrator.

A frequent feature of the American South, a plantation tour provides insights on a painful part of American history. Connect these experiences with the importance of diversity in all walks in our profession as administrators. Be reminded about how the need for protections and oversight impact and define our work as administrators now and in the future.

After a busy day of SRAI sessions, at the Hyatt Regency take some time to unwind along Savannah’s River Walk to take in the scenic views and local shops along the Port. As you take in the beauty of these surroundings and watch a boat or two drift in or out of the port let your imagination embrace a vision or two of how collective local efforts can have a lasting and history making global impact.

On March 22-25, dozens of SRAI colleagues will be meeting to engage and elevate our organization and profession to new levels. Come on out and be a part of the conversation, enjoy the amazing history of Savannah, and lend your voice to crafting the future of SRAI!

See you in Savannah!
