Note from the Editor | Give Yourself a Little Heart
As we all settle in to 2021, our February issue is reflective of the times: eclectic and relevant, a bit of something for everyone, all served with a large dose of reality. The Foreign Influence series continues, with Debbie Pettitt’s focus on federal agencies’ policies. Policy aficionados will enjoy the Washington Update by Dara Little, and post-award administrators can dig into Jason Guilbeault’s article on single audit findings for cash management.
As Valentine’s Day draws near, we invite you to give a little heart to yourself and to your work from home colleagues (furry friends and family). Trevor Johnson and the Catalyst Committee Members provide tips on mental health and work-life balance in Working From Home; check out the results from last month’s poll on New Year’s resolutions; and Mark Lucas describes his love for critters in Secret Life.
Importantly, Debra Schaller-Demers, SRAI President, reminds us of the many exciting upcoming SRAI educational offerings and events that are designed to help us share, learn, engage, and grow.
Together we are better!
