The Board of Directors Met in February
Your Board of Directors met online on Friday February 18th to conduct the business of the Society. Unlike prior Board meetings, this one occupied only one day.
President Debra Schaller-Demers updated the Board on the progress of the strategic plan. The focus of the discussion was about the subcommittees developing the metrics that will comprise the measures of success. Stay tuned for future developments at the Annual Meeting.
On the topic of the Annual Meeting, SRAI will convene again in person in Las Vegas. The Board has approved the meeting budget and planning is well along. The program is shaping up to be one of the best ever. You will not want to miss this opportunity.
Treasurer Dominic Esposito reported that the finances of the Society remain strong in spite of the pandemic and its economic impact. Additionally, the Society concluded another clean audit with no significant findings. Congratulations are due to Dominic and the entire Executive Office team for their expert fiscal management.
The Diversity, Engagement, and Inclusion Task Force will continue its mission in the coming year. Its earlier charge completed, a new document is in development to guide this important work.
Remember that the Board meetings, whether in person or online, are open to all members of the Society. I hope that you will join us when the Board next convenes this summer.
