Author Fellowship Program Call for Cohort 4 Applications

The Journal of Research Administration’s Author Fellowship Program will begin accepting applications for its fourth cohort on September 25 (Research Administrators Day). The JRA Author Fellowship Program pairs research administrators who want to publish a peer-reviewed article with experienced Peer Advisors in a six-month program.

The Fellows will receive one-on-one guidance from their Peer Advisor in writing an article for a peer-reviewed journal. Areas of support can include help in developing a clear topic and outline based on the Fellow’s interest, performing a literature review, planning and conducting research, and developing an outline of the article. The Peer Advisors will also provide guidance as the Fellow writes the article and will give feedback on draft versions.

A number of fellows from previous cohorts have had articles accepted in JRA. Other fellows continue to work toward publication. The third cohort of the program will conclude in September.

If you have an idea for an article and are interested in learning how to write for a peer-reviewed journal, see https://www.srainternational.org/resources/journal/author-fellowship for more information and to obtain the application form. Applications will be accepted from September 25 – November 4. We are also seeking experienced authors to serve as Peer Advisors. If you are interested, please see the link above for the Peer Advisor application form.
