Note from the Editor | Thankfulness and Food for Thought

Since traditionally November is a month of thankfulness here in the US, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to my fellow co-editor, Terry Campbell, SRAI Headquarters liaison, Debbie Appler, all our Catalyst committee members, our writers, and you, our readers. The Catalyst couldn’t exist without you, and it is made better by your engagement and contributions. Thank you.

I am also thankful we have such an active membership in other aspects of SRAI, such as our Distinguished Faculty Members, LevelUP Learners, and the Odyssey Program. We have an article pertaining to each of these so don’t forget to check them out.

Additionally, we have an update from our hardworking SRAI Board of Directors who met recently at the 2021 SRAI Annual Meeting in New Orleans. I highly recommend reading it since not only will you hear about the latest happenings with our SRAI Board, but Bruce provides the location for the 2022 SRAI Annual Meeting!

Finally, I am thankful to be part of an organization that welcomes newcomers, giving them a chance to shine, considers the “Operational Challenges and Opportunities of Remote vs. Onsite vs. Hybrid Work,” and allows us to have a little fun by sharing holiday recipes. These articles and more are in this month’s issue, so I hope you enjoy some “food for thought” and potentially food for your table!
