Where Do You See the Future of Research Administration | William Hoffman
Members of SRAI’s Distinguished Faculty were recently asked where they see the future of research administration. Over the next few months, we will share their insights and observations.
I see Research Administration as a vastly growing field of study over the next five-to-ten years. I see more and more universities offering a Master’s Certificate in Research Administration, and I see more universities honoring the CRA Certifications and Master’s Certificate programs equating more professional growth and increased salary opportunities for their employees in the future. I also see more and more universities giving their employees a 100% telework option (or at least a hybrid option) and realizing that by allowing employees the ability to telework, they will not be losing valuable and experienced employees to other institutions.
