Note from the Editor | New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year and 2022 from all of us on the Catalyst Committee!

Many people choose to start the new year with resolutions or intentions. If you are one such person, we have some articles to help you along your way. For instance, Gloria Greene addresses relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation in her article for this month. For those of you whose new year’s resolution or intention is to learn something new, our SRAI Education and Professional Development Committee (EPDC) would like to share with you a little about their set up and how they work with and for SRAI and Floris van der Leest shares The Nine C’s of Effective Communication.

Perhaps you’ve resolved to have a little more joy in your life (and might not be ready to let go of the holidays just yet) in which case Jason Claes and Tyler Tulloch have put together Twas the Night Before a Grant Deadline for your amusement. I’m sure many of us can relate to some of the lines within the poem.

We look forward to spending 2022 with you and as always welcome your contributions and comments. Thanks for kicking off your year with us.
